Dark Chocolate Chip Banana Whip
Yesterday Philly was experiencing a heat wave and homemade banana whip was a must! (any excuse to eat banana whip will do). In the nutrition world we call it “nice” cream. I have made variations of it but this recipe is my favorite! You will never throw away another ripe banana 🙂
Ingredients:
- Frozen bananas – 3 large
- Dark Chocolate Chips (85% cacao/bittersweet) – 1/2 cup
- Organic Creamy Peanut or Almond Butter – 3 tablespoons
- Ground Cinnamon – 1/4 teaspoon
- Unsweetened Almond Milk – 3 tablespoons
Blend in a high speed blender (such as a Vitamix). Serves 2.
